WOMENS SPECIAL

'INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY'

International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated on march 08, every year.

Every year IWD come up with new themes for celebration, this year the theme to celebrate IWD 2022 is #BreakTheBias

The United Nation's theme for this year’s observance is “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow” in recognition and celebration of the women and girls who are leading the charge on climate change adaptation and response and to honour their leadership and contribution towards a sustainable future.

The IWD 2022 #BreakTheBias pose with your arms crossed to show your commitment to calling out bias, smashing stereotypes, breaking inequality, and rejecting discrimination.

To celebrate the achievements of women today and throughout the history, across the globe,in relation to division, whether it is national, international, ethnic, cultural, linguistic, economic, social or political. And to tie together women of all different backgrounds and cultures to fight for gender equality and women's rights.

Last year- IWD2021 #choosetochallenge.. Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world'. "to challenge inequality, call out bias, question stereotypes, and help forge an inclusive world".

National Women's Day -

Honoring the contribution of Sarojini Naidu - The Nightingale of India (Bharat Kokila) who was born on 13 February 1879, the day is celebrated as the National Women's Day of India. National Women's Day is celebrated to celebrate the social, cultural, political and economic achievements of women.

Great Indian Womens

Savitribai phule, Ahilyabai Holkar, Rani Lakshmi bai.

Sarojini Naidu,Mother teresa, Indira Gandhi,Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit, Sushma Swaraj, Justice Anna Chandy. Indra Nooyi.

Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu, Mithali Raj, Geeta Phogat, Sakshi Malik.Mary kom.

Kalpana Chawla.

Kiran Bedi, Captain Prem Mathur, Seema Rao (first woman commando trainer.)  Lakshmi Agrawal (acid attack fighter).

Today woman are walking and leading in every field under different circumstances. No one can beat the determination and dedication of a woman.

Role of Woman - Mother, Sister, Wife, Daughter.

In any disguise woman always plays an important role in everyone's life.

Woman are considered to be physically weak (mentally strong). Prone to accidents/ crimes (stand still during tough times), difficult to understand (very understanding).

Yeah, anger or mood swings of a girl/ woman are totally a different matter.

RESTRICTION ON WOMEN -
• In name of RELIGION - Restricting woman in name of religion always rules the list. Religion always taught us to be honest and kind to other living beings not to abolish the rights of others. But some people make their own rules in name of religion, today.
• BY FAMILY -
Woman were always kept under control of males of the family, for protection but this protection gradually changes to restrictions. Male child of family is free to move or to do any kind of work but girls have restrictions at house. Inequality, gender biasing arises from here only.
BY SOCIETY -
Gender biasing, restricting, making unnecessary guidelines for females -  regarding education, marriage, children etc.

▪︎CRIME AGAINST WOMEN
▪︎ FEMALE FOETICIDE - sex determination and killing girl child, in her Mother's WOMB. And disposing the foetus is worst of all the crimes happen against women. It's DEVILISH.
The Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition Of Sex Selection) Act. 2003.
IPC Sec 313 - causing miscarriage without woman's consent.
Sec 314 - causing death with intent to cause miscarriage, act without woman's consent.

▪︎ILLITERACY - Girls are not allowed to get education in earlier times at some places and still some people restrict girls to get educated. Because education make thinking logical and reasoningful.
RTE ACT 2009
Initiatives are taken by central and state governments, from time to time, for promoting (free) girl education.
▪︎ EARLY MARRIAGE and EARLY PREGNANCY - Child marriage or Marrying girls before 18 years of age gives invitation to many more problems - bearing responsibility of a family, husband, household chores is not an easy task and young age immaturity, is hard to deal with. Early pregnancy cause many health problems to girls, also many girls die due to early pregnancy complications.
The Prohibition Of Child Marriage Act, 2006
▪︎HONOR KILLING - If a girl marries a boy outside her community or religion then, killing the girl/woman of the family by males or the other members of the family, in name of saving their false honour and prestige, is known as HONOR KILLING, by saying that the girl has brought dishonor and shame to the family, and try to justify their cruel act. Girl and boy both are killed by the family goons.
The local authorities or community, society unnecessarily provoke and compel the family to disown their child because of intercaste marriage. Though it's rule to marry within same society but it's not a crime to marry, out of the society. If it's a crime too, then still who are these peoples to give punishment??
Culprits are more addicted to false prestige not towards the happiness of their children, and peace for life.
Though, Marriage is a social function but an individual's decision.
No one has forgotten the famous Manoj - Babli case of brutal Honor Killing,Which still give chills to readers/listeners.
IPC Sec 307 - attempt to murder.
▪︎DOWRY - Assaulting physicallly, mentally (torture), burning, murdering, in name of dowry is an old game.
IPC sec 304 - B dowry death, Sec 306 - abetment of suicide.
▪︎DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - physically, sexually abusing women (marital rape). Beating with cruelty upto death or near to death. Such acts are done by husband (mostly) in state of intoxication, work frustration or by in laws.
IPC (493 - 498) offences related to marriage
498 - A cruelty by husband or relatives of husband.
"Break the chain of dowry and domestic violence not the chain of breathe, by suiciding, due to torture. It's seem tough to come out as a divorcee or a single mother but it's good to be alive with dignity and respect rather than being in an abusive relationship".

▪︎ MOLESTATION OR EVE TEASING - most common form we can see at every street today. People are teasing, molesting girl/woman in name of entertainment. And stalking. Touching, whistling, singing songs, capturing snaps, obscene comments obscene acts to outrage a girl/ woman modesty. Making womens uncomfortable at public places.
IPC Sec 294 obscene acts and songs.
Sec 354 - C. Voyeurism.
Sec 354 - D. Stalking.
Sec 509 - gesture, word or act to outrage woman's modesty.
Abducting, Trafficking (selling and purchasing of girls) , Auction (for marriage) of girl child, young girls, womens - to places, where female ratio is less as compared to males. Trafficking girls/womens for prostitution or forcing them in flesh trade.

IPC SEC 366 - kidnapping, abducting, inducing woman to marry against her will.
IPC sec (363-373) Kidnapping and abduction for different purposes.
▪︎ ACID ATTACK - To dislocate women's body (esp. face) after getting rejected. CHEAPEST act. Out of jealousy.
Ipc - sec 326 - A. voluntarily causing grievous hurt by use of acid, etc.
Sec 326 - B. Voluntarily throwing or attempting to throw acid.
RAPE - DISGUSTING, WORST(EST). Same like murder. Culprits should never be spared. To be hanged till death.
IPC Sections 375,376,376A, 376B, 376C, 376D,376 E.
"A must read.. go through the link of my post given below - "A Curse On Humanity.. Rape"

▪︎ MURDER - Murdering woman in name of any incident happened earlier. Love, hatred, jealousy, rejection, molestation, rape, dowry or property or family dispute, etc..
IPC sec 302.

We will see that all the crimes, against womens are done in name of jealousy, intoxication, toxic masculinity, unnecessary male ego, or thinking woman as weak, to protest or in raising voice.
It's need of every second of time to go with...
"WOMEN AGAINST CRIME" ....
Be a fighter always,never a survivor.
Though fake cases of dowry (most), and domestic violence, or molestation and sexual assault (at workplaces) are also registered.
FOR -
PARENTS -

Let your daughters stand on their feet. No one knows the future, make them self-sufficient, and let her be ready for any adverse situation of life. Teach your daughters to be strong physically, mentally, financially, emotionally.
GIRL /WOMAN - life is so unpredictable so living in today but thinking about tomorrow is must. Be self sufficient, capable of doing any task life gives you. Know your rights and stand, fight for it. Be Financially stable (either married or not). Be a real feminist. (Not pseudo) Stand for your and others rights, for truth. Be an inspiration. Be the power, THE ROARING LIONESS with politeness, kindness.

SOCIETY -
Provide equal access of living to everyone. Gender inequality, gender biasing, gender related stereotypes should never be practiced or promoted.

MENS -   In any woman's life.. whatever your role is.. Father, Brother, Husband, Son, Friend.
Be
sensitive , inspiring, loving, supportive , caring, Protective , motivating, toward womens.

STOP
Judging a girl/woman on basis of their - lifestyle, working hours, rumours, dress or dress length and giving character certificate on basis of these.
Presenting WOMAN as a Sex Object in movies, advertisements, tv serials, web series or in other sources of entertainment, should be banned immediately. Such cheap, vulgar contents induce audiences of all ages and they see every girl/woman like a 'thing' and try to act/behave same like they've seen in any 'scene'.

CONCLUSION -

RESPECT EACH LIVING BEING NOT A GENDER.
Stand for your rights. Fight for yourself.
Be Financially Stable and independent. Ambitious, Determined, Dedicated. Powerful.
MORE SUPPORT, MORE POWER, MORE CARE, MUCH MORE LOVE, GOOD HEALTH, MORE INSPIRATION, MOTIVATION to every Woman.

" HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY "..

National Education Day

"NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY"  -  ' NOVEMBER 11 '.  The parliament had inserted Article 21-A,  The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act , 2009 by Eighty-sixth Amendment (86th) Act, 2002  in the Constitution of India,  to provide free and compulsory education of all children in the age group of six to fourteen years as a Fundamental Right in such a manner as the State may, by law, determine.   The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009, (based on 86th amendment),  which represents the consequential legislation envisaged under Article 21-A, means that every child shall receive quality elementary education irrespective of their economic or caste background; this includes children who are forced to drop out of school. Because elementary education is must for personality building of a child, as 06 to 14 years are the base - building ages, of life. Therefore every child has given a right to full time elementary education
